How long does it take to heat up?
Nova heats up fast, typically 10–20 minutes, depending on the season and outside temperature.
How does Nova handle storms?
Nova is built for Australian weather. Mechanical roof tie-downs, a secure locking door system and a watertight exterior help keep everything secure and the weather out so you don’t have to stress every time a storm rolls in.
Is it made for outdoors?
Absolutely. Nova is a true outdoor sauna, engineered to live outside year-round without needing a cover or shelter. Its premium alloy exterior is built to handle the elements with little to no exterior maintenance required.
Why are your heaters better?
Our full-spectrum heaters combine high intensity near/mid-infrared heat for rapid heat up plus precisely tuned 6–12 micron far-infrared output — closely aligned with the wavelengths naturally emitted by the human body. The result is powerful radiant heat, intense sweat sessions and the full-body infrared experience Nova was designed around science.
Why are your prices lower?
We spend money where it matters. Premium materials, smarter design and quality craftsmanship. Not influencers, sporting stars or expensive showrooms. If you see someone with an OUTR, they paid for it and love it. We keep our overheads lean and pass the savings on to the people who matter most — you.
How long is my warranty?
Every Nova comes with our 12-month Comprehensive Warranty as standard. Want even more peace of mind? Choose the protection that matters to you, including an optional 10-year heater warranty for long term confidence.
Do you have local support?
Absolutely, it’s something we pride ourselves on. With years in the sauna industry, we’ve built an extensive Australian support network. Most importantly, we stock our spare parts locally in Brisbane, so you’re not stuck waiting months on end for parts to arrive from overseas. Even if you are rural, we have a way to service you.
What’s not included in my warranty?
Our warranty doesn’t cover insurable events or damage outside our control, such as cyclones, flooding, falling trees, fire or other extreme weather events. These are generally matters for your home or property insurance rather than a product warranty.
Do you offer delivery?
We sure do! Delivery is just $280 flat rate across South East Queensland, Sydney and Melbourne metro areas. We also deliver Australia-wide if you’re outside these areas, simply contact us for a quote. Prefer to collect? Your sauna can be picked up from our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne depots.
Do you install?
We sure do! With professional installers Australia-wide, we can take care of the entire sauna installation for you. Installation averages around $750, including setup and removal of all packaging and rubbish.
Are they hard to install myself?
If you have basic handyman skills, Nova is straightforward to install. We provide detailed step-by-step instructions, and you’ll need two people for the installation. If DIY isn’t your thing or you have little to no handyman experience, we recommend using one of our professional installers.
what kind of base do i need?
We recommend a solid, stable and level base such as concrete, compacted pavers or decking. The more level the base, the easier it is to square and install your sauna correctly. We can use packers to compensate for up to 20mm of fall, but anything greater should be levelled before installation. Nova should never be installed directly on dirt, grass or in areas prone to flooding.
how much space do i need?
One of Nova’s advantages is its space saving design. It can be installed almost flush against walls on either side. Your base should be at least 1520mm W × 1220mm D, this allows 10mm clearance each side of the slab. Please allow 40mm clearance at the rear of the sauna to any walls or structures for the power cable.
The roof measures 1560mm W × 1260mm D, so allow for this around overhead structures or high walls. For safe installation, we recommend at least 2300mm height clearance.

What sort of power point do i need??
Nova comes pre-wired with a standard 20A flat-pin, IP66-rated plug. If you don’t already have a 20A GPO, a licensed electrician will need to install a dedicated outlet. The power lead is 4.5 metres long, but we recommend positioning the outlet within 3 metres of the sauna. Need an electrician or a photo of the plug? Just ask we’re happy to help.
Is Nova certified to Australian standards?
Absolutely. Nova is designed specifically for the Australian market and uses Australian certified electrical components. Our electrical system is certified to AS/NZS 60335.1 and AS/NZS 60335.2.53 and holds relevant SAA certification.
